We are an independent Australian publisher specialising in fantasy and thriller fiction. We handle the full publishing process including editing, cover design, formatting, print, distribution, and marketing.
No. Blythe Press is selective about the manuscripts we take on and we are financially invested in the success of every title we publish. We are not a pay to publish service.
Yes. Please visit our submissions page for full guidelines on what we are currently seeking and how to submit.

We aim to respond to all queries within two weeks. If you have not heard from us within that timeframe, you are welcome to follow up via email.
No. We only accept complete, polished manuscripts. Please do not submit first drafts or works in progress.
Yes. We accept simultaneous submissions. Please let us know if your manuscript is accepted elsewhere so we can update our records.
While our focus is on Australian voices, we will absolutely consider submissions from authors worldwide if they fit our submission guidelines!

Once we offer representation, we work with you through editing, cover design, formatting, and print setup before moving into distribution and marketing. You will be involved and informed at every stage.
You retain the rights to your work. Blythe Press licenses the right to publish and distribute your title under agreed terms outlined in your publishing contract.
Yes. Through our distribution partners, your title will be available to bookstores and retailers globally, both online and in physical stores.
All Blythe Press titles are published in paperback and ebook as standard. Limited edition hardcovers are considered for select titles based on performance.
Blythe Press does not charge authors for editing, formatting, or marketing. These are costs we absorb as your publisher because we are invested in the success of every title we take on.
We do ask our authors to make a one time contribution toward cover design and print setup, as we work exclusively with professional freelance designers to ensure every title meets the highest standard of presentation. This is a production contribution, not a publishing fee.

Our titles are available through major online retailers including Amazon, Booktopia, and can be ordered through most physical bookstores.
